Americana Festival Contingency Plans for Inclement Weather

(Storms with Strong Winds and Lightning)

 

General Policy: The Americana Festival is committed to taking place rain or shine. Public safety is our highest priority. In the event of inclement weather involving strong winds and/or lightning, the Americana Committee will make a decision about whether to postpone or cancel an event.  All decisions to either cancel or postpone events will be posted on both Facebook and our website. In addition, Centerville police cars will use their PA systems to announce event postponements or cancellations as needed.

 

Communication: The Americana Festival Committee will provide updates on delays, postponements, or cancellations through the following channels:
