The fourth Annual Miss Americana Pageant, under the direction of Bridgitte Hatfield will be held on June 13. During dress rehearsal and interview sessions each contestant will be given a 2 1/2 minute block of time to perform a talent of their choice. No live animals, liquids or pyrotechnics will be permitted. Only contestant are allowed on stage. Each winner and her parents are invited to the Grand Marshal's reception in addition to riding in the parade and performing at the Americana Festival. All contestants will receive awards and prizes. The contest is split into four age categories Little Firecracker 4-6yr., Little Miss Americana 7-9 yr., Young Miss Americana 10-13yr. and Miss Americana 14-18yr. In addition to the Americana Festival Parade, the Queens will be chaperoned making numerous appearances at local and state festivals, fundraiser's, and community service events.
